BELOW IS A TRAIL CAM PICTURE OF A RESIDENT MALE LEOPARD, WHICH HAS NOT BEEN SEEN SINCE AND WE FEAR THAT IT MIGHT HAVE PERISHED. OUR ULTIMATE GOAL IS TO PROVIDE AND EXPAND SUITABLE HABITAT FOR THE CONSERVATION OF THIS LEAST KNOWN LEOPARD POPULATION OF THE LOWER ORANGE RIVER VALLEY.
The habitat of wild animals is shrinking

Daberas Guest Farm is situated in South Africa in the Lower Orange River Valley. This semi arid land offers surprising variety of landscapes, differing from stark rocky landscapes, dry river beds to the mighty Orange River as the border between South Africa and Namibia.
The 10000 acre property is dedicated to the conservation of all fauna and flora. In the effort to be totally sustainable we rely completely on solar for energy production, as the natural water is brackish, water desalination plants produce potable drinking water from Solar, thereby reducing our carbon footprint greatly.
Various activities can be embarked on such as hikes, fishing, game drives, birding, star gazing ,visits to the view sites and the Orange river.
